Its asymmetrical, geological silhouette appears as a fragment pulled from a larger landscape, with an organic contour that moves away from the conventions of the traditional rectangular mirror.
Handcrafted in Colombia from hand pigmented amber resin, the piece combines a reflective surface with a richly dimensional frame, allowing the material itself to become part of the experience. The warm amber tone creates a subtle sense of depth and translucency, while the irregular edges reveal the artisanal process behind the work.
Inspired by geological strata and the imperfect forms found in nature, MC II - Mirror II is deliberately free of rigid geometry. Its contours suggest erosion, sediment, and the passage of time, while the reflective surface introduces a more personal dimension: the landscape becomes a surface for self reflection.
