As I look back on 2025, I feel an immense sense of gratitude for every moment that shaped this year, every challenge that refined my vision, and every person who chose to walk beside my studio. This has been a year of transformation, of new beginnings, of community. A year where each month carried its own lesson, its own light.
In January, I began with a beautiful collaboration: our Home Edit Trunkshow with Moda Operandi. It set the tone for a season of openness, of sharing ideas, of imagining the home as a place of story and intention.

February brought deep immersion into my interior design practice. It was a month anchored in material, process, and the quiet satisfaction of watching projects take shape with patience and clarity.

In March, something extraordinary happened: the AD LATAM cover featuring Sascha Barboza’s home. Seeing that project resonate so widely filled me with gratitude for the trust placed in my work.

April was a month of movement between Miami and Barranquilla, working closely on project operations and remembering how much I love the rhythm of creation, collaboration, and problem solving.

In May, two moments touched me deeply. I was welcomed into the AD PRO Directory 2025, among Architectural Digest’s list of top global design professionals. And I supported the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation auction in Los Angeles, a reminder of how design can help hold space for compassion.

June opened new paths as I explored materials and began a new corporate project, expanding my language and possibilities.

In July, I launched our one of a kind clay and cement vases, pieces rooted in earth and gesture. That same month, AD highlighted the 46 Miami interior designers you need to know, and it was an honor to be included.

August was about focus. Tempo became a guiding word as I prepared for Collectible NYC, refining our concepts with intention and excitement.

Then came September, a defining chapter. I presented at Collectible NYC, launching Materia Colectiva, my first series in collectible design. This debut will forever hold a special place in my heart.

That same month, The Lush Veranda, one of my Miami projects, was featured across so many publications:
AD Italia, Manera, AD Mexico & LATAM, Interior Design Magazine, The Local Project, AD Poland, Yinjispace, and Yuzu.
Each feature felt like a quiet affirmation to continue listening to intuition.

In October, I introduced Marcela Cure x Moda Operandi: Spectacular Gifts | Holiday 2025, including three intimate and personal design experiences. I also launched Design Talks, my weekly Thursday series where I share reflections, inspirations, and the ideas that guide my practice. These conversations have become a place of connection I truly cherish.

November was filled with momentum: the AD feature Design’s Newest Obsession Goes Back – Way Back, my presence at Basic.Space NY, the release of my Holiday Limited Edition pieces, and features on 1stDibs and The Go-To Holiday Gift Collections. It was a month that held both celebration and gratitude for the support around our work.

And then December arrived with a milestone I will carry forever. My solo booth at Design Miami, The Form Before, which allowed me to share my newest work with the world in such an intimate and resonant way.

This month also brought a recognition I never imagined: being included in the AD100 list. I feel honored, humbled, and deeply thankful.
I then closed the year with the Moda Operandi FW25 Trunkshow, a final note of creativity and joy.

As I breathe in the last days of this year, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of this community. Every message, every visit, every conversation has shaped the path of 2025. Thank you for believing in my work, for receiving it with such warmth, and for allowing these pieces and projects to enter your homes, your stories, your imaginations.
I am looking forward to 2026 with an open heart, ready for the ideas waiting to be explored, for the materials that will teach me something new, and for the continued joy of creating work that speaks to you.
Wishing you a season full of light, memory, and presence.
