MATERIA COLECTIVA
This collection is a sculptural meditation on permanence, fluidity, and memory. Hand-crafted in amber resin, each piece occupies a threshold between design and sculpture — familiar yet otherworldly, grounded yet porous to light.

Drawing inspiration from geological formations, ritual vessels, and the layered language of her mother’s artistic legacy, Marcela Cure builds a visual vocabulary of amber-toned translucency, asymmetry, and sensual imperfection. The collection unfolds as an ecosystem of objects: a pair of mirrors with tectonic contours, a chair shaped by erosion and time, a faceted vessel evoking both utility and myth, and a table that cradles its own stillness like a reflective pool. A floor lamp rises like an illuminated monolith. Nothing is flat. Nothing is standard.

Each piece is part of a limited edition, handcrafted using artisanal techniques in Colombia. Cure intentionally resists industrial polish in favor of textures that retain the touch of the hand. This approach invites a slower gaze and elevates the presence of the object in the space it inhabits.
