Each piece in the ‘tempo’ series reflects the unique nuances of movement through its distinctive twists, twirls, and bends, evoking the momentary impression left by a passing body in motion. With an earthy color palette and delicate hand-painted lacquer details, the sculptures seem to come alive, celebrating both the physical and emotional cadence of human experience.
This initial series features seven one-of-a-kind pieces, each named after a different ‘tempo’ to represent a particular rhythm of life. These include: Tempo Allegro, Tempo Fluido, Tempo Infinito, Tempo Moderato, and others—each offering a singular expression of balance, flow, and grace. The fluidity and ballet-like movements captured in the sculptures are a visual representation of the fleeting yet impactful moments in life that linger in the eye of the beholder, much like a body’s motion lingering in space.
